General FAQ

Cancellations and Refunds

Participant Cancellations and Changes: A $25 administration fee will be charged for all cancellations or class changes. There are NO refunds once classes have begun. KidSpirit will make exceptions in the case of medical or family emergencies with a doctor’s note and/or other documentation.

KidSpirit reserves the right to cancel or combine classes that are below the minimum participant requirement. Should cancellations occur, KidSpirit staff will contact the participants’ family about alternative class options. There will be no administration fee if KidSpirit cancels a class, or if you are moved off of a waitlist.

If weather conditions cause the cancellation of a class, KidSpirit will leave information on Facebook, on our webpage and on a recorded message at 541.737.5437. If possible, we will work to schedule make-up classes in the case of a weather cancellation.

Have prices increased?

Yes. On July 1st, until 2023, minimum wage will increase, and adjustments will be made accordingly.

Do KidSpirit payments count for tax deductions?

Yes (with the exception of gymnastics). Please note as well, your payments could qualify for the Health and Flexible Spending Arrangement. Consult your tax advisor or IRS Publication 503 form for complete information.

How can I pay KidSpirit?

Exact cash (KidSpirit does not keep change), checks, debit, or credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, and Discover Card) are accepted. You can pay online through your Ideal-Logic account, over the phone, or in person.

Given the Health & Safety restrictions, visitors are not allowed inside Langton Hall. Therefore, payments cannot be made in person. We can process payments over the phone at 541.737.2583 on weekdays between 9:00am-5:00pm.

Does KidSpirit have a lost and found?

Yes we do! The lost and found is located in Langton Hall. Please clearly label your child’s items with first and last name and phone number to make your item easier to find!

Drop-Off/Pick-Up and Absences (this can be confusing)

Where can I park?

In response to the ever-changing campus landscape, we have created a parking page! Please visit it for detailed information on parking. For more questions and information about parking contact OSU Parking Services at 541.737.2583.

Are make-up classes available?

During non-COVID19 guidelines, we do offer make-up classes for our gymnastics programs. However, in order to maintain our stable cohort groups, we cannot allow make-up classes. We hope that in the future we will be able to do this again.

How do I pick-up my child early?

Contact the KidSpirit office 20 minutes prior to pick-up by calling 541.737.5437. We will meet you in front of Langton Hall with your camper. Please bring a mask, your ID and maintain a 6-foot spatial distance.

What if I drop-off my child late?

First off, don't worry! Call the KidSpirit office and a staff member will be out in front of Langton Hall as soon as possible to get your camper checked in and to their group. Please remember that visitors are not permitted to enter Langton Hall at this time.

Insurance Forms

Please share your insurance information with us when you register your child.

Please be patient with us during the medical history portion of the registration. Our office staff is trained to get through all thirty-two medical history questions as fast as possible. In the event of an emergency, it is important that we know as much as possible about your child so that our staff and medical responders can provide quality care. Each of the questions we ask could save your child's life.

Class Availability

If you register over the phone or online, class availability will be confirmed at the time of registration.

COVID-19 FAQs

I'm nervous about sending my child to a public program right now.

We understand your worries completely! We are continually staying up to date with the guidelines outlined by the Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC), the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), the Oregon Early Learning Division (ELD), as well as Oregon State University. We have reduced class sizes, increased cleaning and extensively trained our staff to maintain these guidelines as well. Please let us know of any concerns you may have regarding the safety of your child at camp and we will do whatever we can to accommodate to your needs. For more information, visit our Health & Safety page or call our office at 541.737.5437. We appreciate your understanding and patience!

How is camp different than it was in the past?

We're still the same fun, growing, learning camp as we have always been. Now we're taking steps to keep our staff and participants safe by keeping stable cohort groups of 10 people, masks are worn at all times (indoors and outdoors), 6-foot spatial distancing is enforced and we're cleaning and sanitizing extremely often. We still have the same dedicated staff who are here to make your child's day, while keeping everyone safe. For more information, visit our Health & Safety page or call our office at 541.737.5437.
